Dear one, what I explore with you
Feels both ancient and so new.
I feel a stranger on this shore,
and yet I feel at home in core.
Feels both ancient and so new.
I feel a stranger on this shore,
and yet I feel at home in core.
My mind can play the game of doubt,
wispering questions soft or loud.
My heart and body, though, surrender,
to season’s blossom oh so tender,
to sensation and emotion,
to celebration and devotion.
Firm as a rock, in waves so wild
I stand, I dance, laugh like a child.
From time to time I stop and see,
Observe the weathers on the sea.
I greet the sun, the clouds, the storms,
Embrace them all, love’s many forms.
Along the awe that’s ever growing,
There’s peace and trust in inner knowing.
Thus in deep gratitude I bow
To every new and wondrous now.
